Re: SL-13377 Dawn Brights Pratorian Guard Breakdown

The CRL for this costume can't come fast enough.

I am gutted I was unable to suit up as an official 501st PG for this films release. As soon as we have a CRL and a vetted list of makers/parts providers I'll definitely be spending my monies.

Re: Jimmiroquai - Praetorian Guard build, all versions

Hi;

Is there any chance that we could get a photo of the unprimed/unpainted test piece or pieces along with your fabric? I was just wondering what the colour/hue difference is between painted and unpainted.

Cheers.

Re: DarkFather's (ROTJ) TR Build thread

Hi all;

Just wanted to let everyone know. My Approval has just come through. I'm officially a TR now as well. I will be debuting my costume at OzComicCon in Brisbane Australia this weekend with the Redback Garrison.

**Happy happy days!**

Re: DarkFather's (ROTJ) TR Build thread

Well, it has begun. We have just gotten home from Brisbane (a 5hr+ drive). We had a great time, and I got some Father's Day/Force Friday goodies to boot! Now my eyes are basically falling out of my head, and my wife is in no better state, but we have sorted through photo's and picked out the best on...

Re: DarkFather's (ROTJ) TR Build thread

Thanks for the kind words Darth Dog and Redgirl. Firstly - Kudo's to both you Redgirl and you Darth Dog for having the skills to do your own buckets. I was completely lost on the whole building and bondo'ing part of the build. I'm extremely lucky to be a member of the Redbacks and the 501st. The guy...

Re: DarkFather's (ROTJ) TR Build thread

Hmm... I've posted some strange thread posts in my years, but this may well take the cake. I'm giving full credit for all the work in this post (and possibly my next one) to Cyclops/Bruce. He has done all the work on my TR Bucket for me, and will be painting it as well. This has been a huge help for...

DarkFather's (ROTJ) TR Build thread

Hi All; I have been hovering on these boards for months. I figured it was time I made a WiP thread. This being my 2nd 501st Costume (my first being my Jawa), I have to confess that a lot (OK, 90%) of the build is not being done by myself. I'll explain below in my parts list, but basically I am getti...

Re: Redgirl41 RG WIP

Thanks for the pics Redgirl, and the info. I'm still waiting for my Magnet order to arrive so I have yet to glue my bucket together. I have a couple of questions... 1) What glue did you use? E6000, or something else (plastic cement, super glue)? 2) Did you use the provided ABS sheet to cut out and u...

Re: Redgirl41 RG WIP

Started applying bondo to my helmet today. I've never used the stuff before so a lot of lessons learned. Everyone makes it look so easy. :) I'll apply another coat tomorrow and then take pictures. Please post your thoughts and problems you had. For those others of us with these helmets and ZERO Bon...
