Working on the robes and thought I'd post an in progress pic. We are taking the sides in some to where we pinned it and adjusting the collar. Robes aren't hemmed at the bottom yet either, but I'm really happy with how it is coming along.

Re: Eyes to shoulder measurment
I'm 5'1" myself, and 6.5-7 inches from eye to shoulder. I use the helmet by gmrhodes13 here on the forums and it fits me very well.
Here is an in-progress picture of me trying it on while we were still cutting the visor out.

Re: DarkFather's (ROTJ) TR Build thread
Nothing wrong with hiring someone to do something you don't have the skills for. I'm hiring a seamstress from my local garrison to sew my robes for me. I can't draw a straight line, much less sew one, and I'm getting a lot of help with my helmet as well. Extremely grateful for how supportive everyon...

Re: How to make the air in a DON POST helmet ??????? HELP
A lot of guards I know have a fan under their robes and a tube that runs up their back from it to the helmet.

Re: Eldresh's ROTJ Guard - WIP
Going (hopefully) to finish the work on the helmet this Sunday then all I have to do is paint it. I have a few automotive places that paint helmets around here I'm looking into and someone from the local garrison who might be willing to help me out with that as well who does automotive painting. Goi...

Re: Eldresh's ROTJ Guard - WIP
Starting on the pike soon. Saw a brilliant idea on old google search results. Think I can save myself a lot of time and hassle by making one out of this? http://www.iboats.com/Attwood-White-All-Round-Plug-In-Traditional-Frosted-Globe-Pole-Lights/dm/cart_id.170844605--session_id.577503192--view_id.38...

Re: Eldresh's ROTJ Guard - WIP
Ended up buying a helmet made from ABS from someone here on the forums, and someone from my local garrison with experience helped me work on it. I'll quote the post he made to the garrison forum. [Me] came over yesterday and we got straight to work on her helmet. Very little waste needed to be trimm...

Re: ROTJ CRL Updates
2) Something to consider here. Women likely could have an issue here given they have chests guys dont. While that works with everyone flat, it is quite possible and probable the waves are going to get skewed for them in appearance, again depending on type and HOW that is decided to be accomplished....
