What "armor" would be worn under the Royal Guard robes?

Picked up a pool cue to mod into my forcepike.

I found boots like I've seen several people here use. The Maroon ones are a little darker then the inner robe.

For the ROTS Royal Guard, it says black leather boots, or red suede boots. What about red leather boots? I see people using the Funtasma black boots, and their red ones have the same shape and heel.
