They are the same type of style as an IB. They do have zippers on them, but they are on the inside of the leg and blend wellArminius wrote:Are those IB's officer boots?
If they are I think you're good to go.

Re-Approval Question: Are my boots still made for walking?
Greetings fellow guards! I'm returning to active duty since I am almost done with college (one more semester left and I am free!) and need to be re-approved on my ROTS costume. Everything else I have is in line with the CRL, except for, potentially, my old boots. I've attached a few pictures of them...

Re: best order to build
I actually started with my force pike first. Next thing I did was get all of the soft parts constructed/acquired before moving on to the helmet, because once you have all of the soft parts, it'll be easier to match the color of the robes to the helmet, since that is one of the more important aspects...

Re: Custom or fenix
Personally, I prefer CP. I find the quality of the robes craftsmanship to be a lot better. I don't know if this the case for all FP ROTJ robes, but they have an awkward seam on both sides of the robe that looks like the creator just took two halves of fabric and stitched them together. It looks slig...

I'll find a way to cover it up. The issue with the 4 slits is that it's hard to hide stuffMarcus wrote:Wow, looking good
I am not to sure about the black clip on the sash?
If you have some of that material left over you might want to make a small tube to cover it

ROTS Review
So since I'm 17 and still have 4 months until I turn 18, Stripes suggested from the Facebook page that I should send in some photos of my completed costume for review. So here it is! FYI: I know the shoes I am wearing aren't acceptable for membership. The ones I were going to use are not acceptable....

Dude, this looks awesome! If I get serious about doing a Kir Kanos after I finish my ROTS guard, I might have to talk to you!

Re: ROTS Boots
Yes. They're pretty much german jack boots, but they're higher than the ankle and lower than the calf. No buckles and zipper is on the interior of the leg. Very nice. https://scontent-a-dfw.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/v/t1.0-9/10409781_581485428624690_5840333123437332395_n.jpg?oh=c6194f7272102c72c54f7...

I found some nice leather boots at my local shoe store to use :tr: Black leather? Yes. They're pretty much german jack boots, but they're higher than the ankle and lower than the calf.
