Re: Skirt Build Write-Up - Chrisco27

Thanks for all the great info here. I was wondering if you would be willing to post the Google Doc, or at least a link to it, that you used for the sizes?

Thanks,
Josh

Re: Madighon ROTJ RG WIP

I'll take it back to the paint shop where I get it done the first time. I'm pretty sure they matched the fabric swatch under bad lighting. I'll make sure they get it right the second time around.

Re: Madighon ROTJ RG WIP

The gloves were custom made by a gal who owns a costume shop in town.

The helmet does still need to be repainted. I am waiting for better weather so I can take in my robes with the helmet and show them the color difference in natural light.

Thanks,

Re: Madighon ROTJ RG WIP

I've finally tried on everything. Had it done since Saturday. Will still need to get the helmet repainted a lighter shade to match better. Re: Eldresh's ROTJ Guard - WIP

That is the same Burgundy Gabardine (from the same store) I used for my under robes, gloves, sash and outer robe lining. I love the stuff, it frays easy, but nothing unmanageable. You can see my WIP thread a couple down from yours.

Good luck with your build.

Re: Madighon ROTJ RG WIP

Progress report and pics: I've sewn the basic shape of outer robes and lining. I still need to cut to length, sew lining and outer shell together, hem where appropriate and form some sort of collar. I raised the slit from the previous picture up an inch to the bottom of my arm pit. Here are a couple...
