Helmet Split Mould
Hi All, A while back, my beautiful mint condition DP helmet fell off its mannequin, and cracked across its visor :( I was very upset. Knowing I didn't have a snowballs chance in hell of getting it replaced (the helmets are rare in NZ) I called my insurance company to see if it was covered. Good news...

Well, when the blueprints are done, it shouldn't be too much of a task to make one yourself with some PVC tube, MDF and styrene details on a scroll saw. I think the design of the barrel could make producing a screen accurate kit a bit of trick.

Due to the overwhelming interest in this, I thought I'd post a quick update, had a few hours spare this morning so did a bit more work on the model, nearly done, just a few details to add, and some general tidying.
