Re: Geo's RotJ RG W.I.P.

I got mine done for free at my local body shop....Even $300 seems steep.

Re: RaiderNick's RG WIP

Ok so before I got a chance to put the photos up here for you guys to look at my GML approved it. So I guess I am official now. I'll put some of the pictures up here anyway though. http://i1117.photobucket.com/albums/k581/Toxic_Tripod0/Royal%20Guard/P1000727.jpg http://i1117.photobucket.com/albums/k...

Since the rasp is removable on that type is there any way you can just produce those? I'd like to swap mine out.

Re: RaiderNick's RG WIP

Got my MLC today. I'm still not happy with the price but the bucket is infinitely better than the FP in both quality and timeliness. It's like night and day with the finish on the bucket compared to the other one and it is also thicker. The FP was so thin I could see through it and while lighter I w...

Ok robes are all hemmed. Everything on the costume is done and ready now except the helmet. I am still waiting for the MLC to arrive.

Re: RaiderNick's RG WIP

Taking on the daunting task of hemming the robes today. Besides the fact that they are way too long, FP also sewed them the same length all the way around. This means the sides will hang lower than the front and back because of the natural positioning of the body. I will have to hem it more on the s...

Re: RaiderNick's RG WIP

Here is a picture of the top of the bucket, with the largest concentration of these pinholes. All the little white spots you see are the pinholes which got filled in by the dust from my wet sanding. If you pick the dust out some of them go through the helmet. Also, the bottom edge of the helmet has ...

Re: RaiderNick's RG WIP

Some of the pin holes go all the way through the bucket, so simply priming and painting it multiple times won't fix it. I will try the other suggestions though at this point this bucket is just a backup and if I do manage to fix it I'm going going to sell it to recoup my losses.
